​Posada Valle Verde is ideally located in the Asón valley​ in a close proximity to marvellous beaches as well as to mountains on the opposite with possibility to ski in winter. There is plenty of various options how to spend your holiday. If it is relaxing on the beach, visiting natural parks, exploring caves, do some hiking or visiting coastal towns and villages. For those who are more adventurous they could go horse riding, canoeing, quad biking or do some climbing and try out local vias ferratas. There are many possibilities waiting for our guests to make the most out of their time they will spend in this beautiful corner of Cantabria.

Cantabrian Beaches

Those who prefer soaking up the sunshine while relaxing on the beach and listening to that unmistakeable hum of the waves will no doubt enjoy a trip to the beach. There are many beautiful beaches to choose from, Among the most popular; Playa de Sonabia, Playa de la Salve or Playa de San Julián, all located within a short drive.

Local Caves

There are several caves in the close proximity to our Posada which guests  can visit and explore in their leisure time. Among others Cueva Covalanas or Cueva Cullalvera in Ramales de la Victoria or further away Cuevas El Castillo and Altamira or El Soplao.

Active tourism is becoming increasingly popular in Cantabria and there are several opportunities for active tourism within close proximity. Guests can choose from several different providers of guided tours offering exciting activities such as canoeing, caving or canyoning. Cantabria is also known for its vias ferratas, three of which are in close proximity to Posada Valle Verde and will undoubtedly offer an exciting and unforgettable day out.
